Bhajji




Ingredients:

Vegetables (of your choice) : brinjal,onion,plantain,potato
besan/ gram flour : 4-5 tblspoons
rice flour : 2-3 tspoons
salt : 1 tspoon
red chilly powder : 1/2 tspoon
asafoetida : 1/2tspoon
oil : to fry

Method of Preparation:

Step1: In a large bowl add 4 tblspoons of besan , 3 tspoons of rice flour, salt, asafoetida, red chilly powder and add water little by little and make it into a semi-liquid batter.

Step2: slice the vegetables of your choice like a few mentioned above into thin circles.

Step3: Heat oil in a deep pan , so that it does not require more oil to fry the bhajji, dip the veggie's in the batter and fry in oil until it turns golden brown in colour.

Serve with coconut chutney or ketchup.
